Client Overview:

New York City Blinds, a company specializing in custom window shades, encountered inefficiencies in their order management process. Their designers used paper-based methods to record measurements during client visits, which led to frequent errors when transferring information from the designer to the manager and then to the manufacturer.

The Problem:

The manual system for recording window measurements created a high risk of errors, leading to delays and requiring follow-up with clients to correct inaccuracies. Small mistakes in the process resulted in costly order errors, which slowed down production and impacted client satisfaction.

To address this, we developed a Progressive Web Application (PWA) designed specifically for iPads, allowing designers to digitally record measurements on-site. This replaced the outdated paper method and ensured data accuracy from the start.

The custom system was integrated with their existing Zoho CRM, which they used for order tracking. The new system allowed for automatic syncing of orders from the app to Zoho CRM, generating a PDF for each order. These PDFs contained all the necessary details and were sent directly to the manufacturers and vendors, streamlining the entire process.

Results:
